SPEED UP time of copy from local to server dir

I have a .mdb file in c:\mydir\ i need to copy in \\server1\dir\ i used file copy and other command but the time of trasfering file is very very big!!!!
Have other solution???

note:
I need to use VBA for excel code in this project.
