Selecting a printer

I have written a VB5 program which we use at work to print forms and keep track of a couple databases. Untl recently, we only had one printer on our network so everything was printed to it and it was the default printer. The IT dept has set up 2 additional printers for printing documents and checks. I need to be able to select a specific printer for the output of my program which I don't know how to do. I have looked at the printer property .port and .devicename but am unable to use them properly. Any suggestions?
