This problem is driving me crazy. I've already Googled til I'm blue in the face, so please no regurgitations of what you Google!
I am running vb6 enterprise edition with no discernible problems and I have applied SP6, which allegedly incorporates all earlier SPs.
I have now installed a completely different application (Dragon Naturally Speaking) that throws up an error message that tells me that \Windows\system32\pdm.dll is version 6.6.0.8169. I am advised to update this version which allegedly should happen when I apply SP3 of VS6 (which should be incorporated in SP6), or alternatively to rename the suffix to .old.
My question is: Will vb6 misbehave if I rename pdm.dll to say pdm.old Does vb6 need pdm.dll?
