Hello everyone.
Sincerest apologies for asking about this again but this time I'll be precise about what I need.
I have created an application in Win XP where the executable will reside on a network drive. Staff will access the application through this network drive. They should see a flex grid that displays all of their data. Unfortunately staff who access the application with their Win7 machines get error messages about the flex grid not being available. Using the Microsoft flexgrid would be much easier to use to display data as some staff may have at least 100 lines of data.
Can I write a line of code in the application that copies the relevant file for the flex grid (I think it has a OCX type suffix) to the individual person's computer (if so where do I copy to?) when the excutable is run?
Remember I am only leaving the exe file on the network drive and staff will access it through a shortcut on our work's homepage.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Tim Christopher
